Snap Action Switches, also known as micro switches, are switch devices that are used to open or close an electrical circuit at a rapid speed. These highly sensitive switches are very often used in irrigation systems, semi-trailer trucks, timing devices, office equipment, test instruments, medical and dental equipment, HVAC systems, valves, and manually operated devices.

BA-2RV2-A2 Snap Action Switch from Honeywell is a standard "Large Basic" micro switch that is designed for simple on/off application needs. This Honeywell Switch delivers precision operation with low operating force and sensitive differential travel. It ensures long mechanical life that is up to 20,000,000 cycles at a 95% survival rate. With an elongated mounting hole, this Miniature Snap Action Switch enables more accurate and easier mounting.
