BESCHRIJVING

The HP15M30 is a 1500VDC midget photovoltaic fuse specifically designed for string protection in utility-scale photovoltaic systems. This 30A-rated fuse features a compact 10x112mm form factor with an interrupting rating of 2.44 kA and is engineered for low minimum breaking capacity of 1.35 times the rated current, enabling safe circuit interruption under typical low fault current conditions produced by PV arrays. The fuse exhibits robust construction suitable for continuous temperature and current cycling, with power losses of 2.58W at 70% rated current, 3.60W at 80%, and 6.46W at 100% load. Available with standard ferrule terminals or optional Crimp Cap (CC) terminals for solderless wire-to-fuse connections, the HP15M30 provides reliable protection for both off-grid and grid-tied photovoltaic systems while supporting the industry trend toward higher voltage systems for improved efficiency.
