The 704.901.4 is a snap-action switching element designed for low-voltage switching applications, featuring two normally closed (2 NC) contacts with self-cleaning gold-silver contact material. It is rated for 500 V AC at 10 A switching capacity with a rated impulse withstand voltage of 4 kV according to EN/IEC 60947-5-1, and supports DC13 and AC15 duty cycles across multiple voltage ratings from 24 V to 500 V. The device incorporates a double-break snap-action mechanism with an operating force of approximately 1.9 N for normally closed contacts, operates reliably over a temperature range of -40°C to +55°C, and has an electrical lifetime of 50,000 cycles. It features a screw terminal connection with a maximum wire cross-section of 2 mm × 2.5 mm² and complies with international standards including EN IEC 60947-5-1, CB, UL, and VDE certifications.
