The DAT72405FU is a UL-approved, normally open high-voltage relay from the DA(UL) series designed for high-reliability applications requiring high isolation voltages. This relay features a 5kV isolation voltage across contacts with rhodium contact material, providing low contact resistance of 50 mO (typical 15 mO) and excellent insulation resistance of 10¹° O. The relay operates with a 5V DC coil, requiring a must-operate voltage of 3.7V and must-release voltage of 0.5V, with operate and release times of 3.0 ms and 2.0 ms respectively when a diode is fitted. It supports a maximum switching voltage of 1000V DC/AC peak and maximum switching current of 3A, with a maximum carry current of 4A and switching power of 50W. The DAT72405FU is configured for PCB mounting with flying lead HV connections using UL3239 22AWG cable rated for 20kV, making it suitable for cardiac defibrillators, test equipment, high-voltage power supplies, and other high-reliability applications requiring compact, isolated switching.
