BESCHRIJVING

CD1408-FU1800 is a surface mount ultra-fast rectifier diode designed for high-frequency switching applications requiring high reverse voltage capability. The device features a maximum repetitive peak reverse voltage (VRRM) of 800 V, maximum RMS voltage of 560 V, and a maximum DC blocking voltage of 800 V, with an instantaneous forward voltage of 2.50 V at 1 A forward current. It is housed in a compact 1408 chip package format (compatible with SOD87 and SOD123 footprints) with a low profile design, offering significant PCB real estate savings compared to larger competitive parts. The glass-passivated rectifier diode exhibits a maximum reverse recovery time of 35 ns and a peak forward surge current of 25 A (8.3 ms single half sine-wave), making it ideal for high-frequency switching power supplies, inverters, free-wheeling applications, and polarity protection circuits. The device is RoHS compliant, lead-free, UL 94V-0 classified, and operates reliably over a junction temperature range of -65°C to +175°C.
