BESCHRIJVING

The 84PR5KLFTR is a Model 84 multiturn surface mount cermet trimming potentiometer designed for precision adjustment applications. It features a 1/4" square form factor with 12 turns of nominal electrical travel, supporting resistance values from 10 ohms to 1 megohm with ±10% tolerance. The device operates at a maximum input voltage of 200 Vdc or rms, with a power rating of 0.25 watts at 85°C, maximum slider current of 100 mA, and dielectric strength of 900 Vrms. It exhibits essentially infinite resolution with a maximum contact resistance variation of 1% or 1 ohm (whichever is greater), and maintains an insulation resistance minimum of 1,000 megohms. The potentiometer operates reliably across a temperature range of -65°C to +150°C with a temperature coefficient of ±100 ppm/°C (±250 ppm/°C for resistances =100 ohms), making it suitable for precision instrumentation, calibration circuits, and industrial control systems requiring stable, repeatable adjustment.
