The terminal is constructed from brass with pre-tin plating, employs F-crimp attachment, and includes a dimple-based mating retention system rated for 7–100 Newton extraction force. Operating across a temperature range of -40°C to +110°C, this receptacle terminal supports wire insulation diameters of 1.52–2.31 mm and is commonly used in automotive lighting connectors, electrical harnesses, and quick-disconnect applications where reliable positive locking and low-force mating are essential.
