DESCRIPTION

66108-5 is a socket assembly contact, .062 Type III+, designed for reliable wire termination in electronic applications. The contact features a brass body with a stainless steel spring and a brass ferrule with nickel flash. The mating end diameter is Ø1.52 mm [Ø.060] with a maximum outer diameter of Ø2.87 mm [Ø.113] and an overall length of 13.46±0.25 mm [.530±.010]. The contact is plated with 0.76µm minimum gold per MIL-G-45204 on the mating end for a length of 5.08 mm minimum, with a uniform gradient to 0.25µm minimum gold on the remainder, over 0.76µm minimum nickel per QQ-N-290. This socket assembly is suitable for applications requiring secure electrical connections with standard body finish.
