DESCRIPTION
58483-1 is a die assembly designed for use with the PRO-CRIMPER III hand tool frame (354940-1) to crimp ferrules of SMB straight cable plug connectors. The die assembly consists of an indenter (stationary die) and an anvil (moving die) that form three crimping chambers marked .105 (A), .128 (B), and .151 (C). It is compatible with flexible coaxial cable sizes RG/U 178, 196, 174, 179, 187, 188, and 316, including double braid configurations. The die opening dimensions are 2.667 mm [.105 in] for chamber A, 3.251 mm [.128 in] for chamber B, and 3.835 mm [.151 in] for chamber C, with a tolerance of ±0.10 mm [±.004 in]. This die assembly is ideal for field installation, repair, maintenance work, or prototyping in industrial, commercial, or institutional applications.
