DESCRIPTION

The GPFM250-48G is a 250-watt medical-grade global performance switcher designed to deliver regulated 48V DC power with high efficiency and reliability. It features a compact form factor of 5.0" × 8.0" × 1.75" with 3.6 watts/cu.in. power density, power factor correction to IEC 1000-3-2 Class A, and conducted EMI compliance to EN55011 Class B and FCC Class B standards. The unit provides 3.8A continuous output (convection cooled) or 5.3A with 26 CFM airflow, with ±5% voltage adjustment capability and 2% total regulation. It includes comprehensive protection features such as overvoltage protection (55 ± 4.0V setpoint), thermal shutdown, power fail detection, and short-circuit protection with automatic recovery. The GPFM250-48G is approved to medical standards UL2601-1, IEC601-1/60601-1, and CSA-C22.2 No. 601.1, making it suitable for critical medical device applications requiring high reliability and regulatory compliance.
