DESCRIPTION

The SDS002R is a side-actuated detect switch from the SDS Series, designed for applications requiring reliable contact detection with a normally-closed (N.C.) configuration. It features a low-profile package that sits just 2mm off the PCB with 2mm overtravel, ideal for detector applications such as PCB lock cam detect and smart card detect. The switch has a low actuation force of 75 grams maximum, contact rating of 100 mA at 12 VDC, and mechanical/electrical life of 50,000 cycles. With an operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C, contact resistance of 100 mO maximum, and insulation resistance of 10 MO minimum at 100 VDC, the SDS002R is well-suited for medical devices, consumer electronics, and ATCA/MicroTCA applications. The white housing is supplied in tape and reel packaging (3000 per reel) and is RoHS compliant.
