DESCRIPTION

The SL355 is a personal noise dosimeter and datalogger designed for measuring total sound exposure over an 8-hour period with OSHA and IEC compliance. It features a measurement range of 60–130 dB with A/C weighting and peak detection capabilities up to 140 dB, adjustable criterion levels (80, 84, 85, or 90 dB), and configurable exchange rates (3, 4, 5, or 6 dB). The device can datalog up to 12,000 readings when used as a sound level meter with sampling times between 1 second and 1 hour, and stores up to 20 dosimeter surveys with data including start/stop time, %dose, projected 8-hour dose, and peak levels. It includes a 0.5-inch electret condenser microphone with 31-inch cable, LCD display, USB interface for Windows-compatible software, and operates for over 35 hours on three AAA batteries. The SL355 is ideal for workplace noise assessment, personal accumulated noise exposure measurement, and regulatory compliance applications requiring OSHA and IEC standards adherence.
