DESCRIPTION
The 515-1353-1250F is a vertical panel mount OPTOPIPE® light pipe designed to transmit light from surface mount LEDs to front panel indicators. This domed lens variant features a 1.250 inch (31.75 mm) length and 5mm diameter output, with a polished surface and SPI A1 finish for optimal light transmission and viewing angles. The light pipe is precision molded from RoHS compliant UL94-V0 water clear polycarbonate with an oxygen index of 35%, and mounts securely through a 0.156 inch (3.96 mm) diameter hole with a press-fit installation into panels as thin as 0.040 inch (1 mm). Operating across a temperature range of -40°C to +100°C, this component provides a cost-effective solution for bringing LED indication to front panels in applications requiring reliable, low-power light transmission from PCBs parallel to the panel surface.
