MLP152M080EK1A is an ultra-low profile aluminum electrolytic capacitor from the Type MLP Flatpack series, designed for voltage holdup and filtering in space-constrained applications. It features a capacitance of 1500 µF with a rated voltage of 80 Vdc (100 Vdc surge), an ESR of 106 mO maximum at 120 Hz, and a ripple current capability of 3.6 A at 85°C case temperature. The capacitor operates over a temperature range of -55°C to +85°C, comes in a 1.5-inch length EK case with polyester insulation, and weighs approximately 30 g. With its nearly hermetic welded seal assuring up to 50-year life at +45°C and ability to withstand altitudes exceeding 80,000 feet, this capacitor is ideal for military SEM-E modules, telecom circuit packs, and computer cards requiring high-energy storage in a compact form factor.
