1178C-SL005 is an eight-conductor communication cable designed for general-purpose wiring and signal transmission applications. The cable features 22 AWG tinned copper conductors (7/30 stranding) with 0.010" nominal PVC insulation and a 0.032" nominal PVC jacket, providing robust electrical isolation and mechanical protection. The eight conductors are cabled together with a minimum twist rate of 4.8 twists per foot and are color-coded according to Alpha Wire Color Code D (black, red, white, green, orange, blue, brown, yellow). Electrically, the cable is rated for 300V RMS with a temperature range of -20°C to +80°C, a bend radius of 10× cable diameter, and a maximum pull tension of 44 lbs.
