DESCRIPTION

M39029/1-102 is a military-specification pin contact designed for size 16 terminal junction systems compliant with MIL-T-81714. The contact is rated for a dielectric withstanding voltage (DWV) of 1,500V at sea level and 600V at 70,000 feet altitude, with a working voltage of 600V at sea level and 300V at altitude. It exhibits a maximum contact voltage drop of 50V initially and 55V after conditioning at a test current of 13.0A, and maintains an insulation resistance of at least 5,000 megohms after three altitude immersion cycles in salt water. The contact operates reliably across a temperature range of -65°C to +200°C and demonstrates excellent durability with no performance degradation after 10 insertion/removal cycles. These specifications make it suitable for demanding aerospace and military applications requiring high reliability and environmental resistance.
