DESCRIPTION

M24308/4-2Z is an environmental D-subminiature connector from ITT Cannon's D*D series, designed to meet MIL-C-24308 requirements for subminiature rectangular plugs with superior vibration and moisture resistance. The connector features a rugged aluminum shell with cadmium plating and yellow chromate supplementary coating, along with a peripheral seal for environmental protection. Contacts are available in solder pot or crimp configurations, with copper alloy construction and gold plating over nickel. The connector is supplied with nylon potting cups and dust caps, and is commonly used in aircraft, missile, and ground support equipment applications where reliable performance under harsh conditions is essential.
