DESCRIPTION
The SZ-Z5 is a CR-type coil surge suppression unit designed to protect magnetic contactors from damaging surge voltages generated during ON-OFF operations. It features a capacitor-resistor circuit connected in parallel with the coil that suppresses the abrupt increase of surge voltage by lowering the surge voltage oscillation frequency, making it suitable for both AC and DC circuits rated 100-250V. The unit is compatible with Fuji Electric SC-series contactors (SC-03 to 5-1) and provides effective protection for adjacent electronic devices from malfunction or damage caused by inductive switching transients.
