DESCRIPTION

The VIR50 is a dual laser video infrared thermometer designed for non-contact temperature measurement with integrated thermal imaging capabilities. It features a 2.2" color TFT LCD display (320 x 240 pixels) and a built-in 640 x 480 camera that captures both images (JPEG) and video (3GP) for PC analysis. The dual laser system converges at 50° (127 cm) distance to identify a 1" target spot, with a 50:1 field of view ratio and fast 150 millisecond response time. The device measures infrared temperatures from -58 to 3992°F (-50 to 2200°C) with basic accuracy of ±(1% of reading + 4°F/2°C), adjustable emissivity from 0.10 to 1.00, and includes Type K thermocouple input for contact measurements up to 2498°F (1370°C). Additional features include air temperature and relative humidity measurement (0 to 100% RH), MAX/MIN/AVG/DIF functions, adjustable high/low alarms, trigger lock for continuous readings, and microSD card storage. The VIR50 is ideal for HVAC diagnostics, electrical inspections, building energy audits, and industrial maintenance applications where thermal documentation and analysis are required.
