DESCRIPTION
SKU 13460 is an 8" x 10" STATSHIELD® M/I Series ESD shielding bag with metal-in construction designed to protect static-sensitive devices. The bag features a multi-layer construction consisting of a 0.5 mil static dissipative polyester outer layer, a 10-25 angstrom aluminum shielding layer, and a 2.5 mil static dissipative polyethylene inner layer, with a total thickness of 2.8 to 3.0 mils. It provides low charge generation (Teflon: 0.09 nC/sq. in., Quartz: 0.01 nC/sq. in.), outer surface resistance of <10E2 ohms, and static shielding of <25 nJ, meeting ANSI/ESD S541 requirements for transportation of sensitive products outside EPA. The bag offers excellent mechanical properties including burst strength >50 psi, tear strength >25 lbs, puncture resistance >10 lbs, and heat seal strength >10 lbs/in, making it ideal for protecting sensitive electronic components during shipment and storage in non-ESD protected areas.
