The SD-60 is a 6-pin standard DIN connector manufactured by Same Sky (formerly CUI Devices) designed for reliable electrical connections in industrial and consumer applications. It features a strain relief boot, nickel-plated brass contact pins, and a steel shell with nickel plating, providing robust mechanical and electrical performance. The connector is rated for 100 Vac input voltage with a maximum rated current of 2 A at 12 Vdc, and maintains contact resistance below 30 mO. It offers an insulation resistance of 100 MO at 500 Vdc and can withstand 1,000 Vac for 1 minute, with an operational temperature range of 5°C to 70°C and a mechanical life of 5,000 insertion/withdrawal cycles. The SD-60 is RoHS compliant and commonly used in power distribution, audio equipment, and industrial control systems where secure, low-resistance connections are essential.
