DESCRIPCIÓN
The THS5047RJ is a 50-watt aluminium housed power resistor from the THS series, designed for high-power applications requiring rapid heat dissipation through an aluminium housing to a specified heatsink. This wire-wound resistor delivers 50 watts dissipation at 25°C with heatsink and 20 watts without heatsink, with a maximum working voltage of 1250 V DC or AC rms and dielectric strength of 2500 V AC peak. The resistor features excellent stability with 1% resistance change over 1000 hours, a temperature coefficient of 30 ppm/°C (for values above 100 O), and standard 5% tolerance. With a standard heatsink area of 53,500 mm² and 2 mounting holes, the THS5047RJ is ideal for braking resistors, balancing resistors, capacitor charging/discharging circuits, crowbar applications, and general electrical machinery use, offering proven reliability backed by over 50 years of design and manufacturing experience.
