748566-1 is an HDP-22 subminiature D connector shielding hardware kit for receptacles from the AMPLIMITE series. The kit features a steel tin-plated shell and shields with a thermoplastic insert rated 94V-O in black. This connector series offers approximately 66% higher density than HD-20 connectors and is intermateable with any size 22 subminiature D connector dimensionally complying with MIL-C-24308. The receptacles accept Size 22 DF socket contacts, which are purchased separately. Common applications include computer industry I/O connections and personal systems products where shielding and high-density connectivity are required.
