DESCRIPCIÓN

The 66570-8 is a crimp and solder cup contact designed for precision pin and socket applications in AMP connectors. This contact is engineered for 18 AWG wire (0.8–0.9 mm²) and features a brass pin body with phosphor bronze socket construction, providing excellent electrical conductivity and durability. The contact incorporates a localized gold plate area for enhanced corrosion resistance and reliable mating performance. With a maximum pin diameter of 0.070 inches (1.78 mm) and socket diameter of 0.085 inches (2.16 mm), this contact is suitable for both strip form and loose piece configurations. The contact is available in both strip form (part number 66570-2) and loose piece (part number 66570-3) versions, making it versatile for various assembly and production requirements in signal and power connector applications.
