DESCRIPCIÓN
3-338314-2 is a 15-way subminiature D-type socket connector designed for straight PCB mounting with solder termination. This connector features boardlocks for secure board retention and 4-40 screwlocks for reliable mating. The housing is constructed from black glass-filled polyester with UL 94V-0 flammability rating, while the front shell is tin-plated steel. Contacts are made of phosphor bronze with 0.76µm gold plating on the contact area, supporting a maximum current rating of 6A. The connector offers excellent electrical performance with 5000 MO minimum insulation resistance and 1000V AC dielectric strength, operating over a temperature range of -55°C to +105°C. It is ideal for applications requiring robust D-sub connections in industrial, computing, and communication equipment.
