2-87523-4 is a wire-applied contact for the AMPMODU Mod IV interconnection system, specifically engineered for intermediate pressure (Mod IV.v) applications. This contact accommodates 24-20 AWG wire sizes (0.2-0.6 mm²) with a maximum insulation diameter of 0.069 inches (1.75 mm) and is constructed from copper-tin-phosphor bronze material with Plating B (duplex gold and matte tin) finish. The contact features a dimension A of 0.470 inches (11.94 mm) and is available in both strip form and loose piece configurations, with compatibility for AMP-O-LECTRIC crimping machines and hand tools.
