DESCRIPCIÓN
207016-1 is a 4-position square grid receptacle housing designed for the AMP Metrimate pin and socket connector system manufactured by TE Connectivity. This receptacle housing accepts pin contacts and features polarized housings with locking tabs and serrated release mechanisms for secure mating and reliable disconnection. The housing is constructed from red thermoplastic material rated 94V-O and is designed for panel-mount applications without requiring additional hardware. Contacts are available in multiple wire sizes (AWG 30-28 through 18-14) with options for gold/nickel or bright tin plating, supporting current ratings up to 24 amperes at 30°C temperature rise with enhanced high-current Type III+ contacts. The connector operates over a temperature range of -55°C to +105°C and is designed to meet IEC 440V requirements with true metric dimensions at 5 mm (.197 inch) contact centers, making it suitable for industrial control systems, telecommunications equipment, and other applications requiring reliable multi-position interconnection.
