DESCRIPCIÓN
170330-2 is an insulated receptacle housing for TE Connectivity's Positive Lock FASTON terminals, engineered to provide secure retention and ease of assembly. The housing is constructed from 6/6 Nylon material with UL 94 V2 flame rating, available in natural color, and features an integrally designed depressor mechanism that allows manual or automatic deflection for terminal removal. The receptacle locks onto mating tabs containing holes with reduced insertion force and provides a "snap" action confirmation of proper mating. This design enhances safety by preventing accidental disconnection of terminals and reducing the risk of exposed live parts or circuit disruption. The housing is recognized under UL Component Program File Nos. E66717 and E28476, and certified by Canadian Standards Association (File No. LR7189A), making it suitable for automotive and industrial applications requiring reliable electrical connections in confined spaces.
