The 1-1740197-5 is a 15-position HDP20 series pin header designed for surface-mount technology (SMT) applications. It is constructed with a black PCT-GF pin housing, CuMg contacts, and a steel shell with nickel plating. The contacts feature a minimum of 0.8 μm gold over 1.27 μm nickel in the contact area and 3-5 μm tin over nickel in the solder area. This connector includes a mounting bracket with a 3.1 mm diameter hole for secure PCB attachment and is suitable for lead-free SMT soldering processes.
