FSM2J is a tactile switch from the FSMJ Series manufactured by TE Connectivity/Alcoswitch, featuring a compact 6 x 6 mm form factor without a ground terminal. The switch is constructed with a polyamide case, polyacetal resin actuator button, and copper alloy terminals with silver plating, providing reliable electrical contact and durability. It operates over a temperature range of -40°C to +105°C with a contact rating of 50 mA at 12 VDC, an initial contact resistance of 100 milliohms maximum, and an insulation resistance of 100 megohms minimum at 100 VDC. The switch offers an actuation force of 160 ±50 grams with a 0.010 inch (0.254 mm) actuator travel and is rated for up to 100,000 cycles, making it suitable for consumer electronics, industrial control panels, and portable devices requiring compact, reliable momentary switching.
