The 3001216 is a 12 x 16 inch recloseable static shielding bag from the 3M SCC 1000 ZipTop series, engineered to provide a static-safe environment for sensitive electronics. It utilizes a four-layer, metal-in construction with a polyester dielectric and an aluminum shield to create a Faraday cage effect, protecting contents from ESD and electrostatic fields. Key performance characteristics include a static decay time of less than 2 seconds, static shielding below 30 volts, and a material thickness of 3 mils.
