DESCRIPTION

F78-00A is a double-pole panel-mount pushbutton switch designed for momentary action control in industrial and commercial applications. The switch features a thermoplastic case with thermoplastic acetal actuating button, stainless steel spring, and beryllium copper moving blades, providing reliable long-life operation with snap-action mechanism. It is rated for 0.1A at 125VAC (EN61058) and 0.1A at 125VAC (UL1054), with an electrical life of 50,000 operations according to VDE standards and 6,000 operations per UL1054 (100K life available). The switch operates over a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C with UL94V-O flammability rating, and features brass terminals with silver-cadmium oxide contacts. Common applications include control panels, machinery interfaces, and equipment requiring reliable momentary switching with double-pole functionality.
