DESCRIPCIÓN
747871-2 is an AMPLIMITE HD-20 front metal-shell straight posted subminiature D-type connector plug designed for reliable PCB mounting applications. This shell size 1 connector features 9 contact positions with standard mounting holes and grounding indents for enhanced EMI protection. The pin contacts are brass with gold plating (0.00075" minimum) on the mating end and tin-lead on the termination end, with nickel underplating (0.00127" minimum) throughout. The connector housing is constructed from 94V-0 rated black thermoplastic with a tin-plated steel shell. Common applications include computer interfaces, industrial equipment, and instrumentation where robust D-sub connectivity is required.
