DESCRIPCIÓN
7-1437529-9 is a DIP socket designed to provide reliable electrical connection between integrated circuit devices and printed circuit boards. The socket features dual leaf contacts constructed from phosphorous bronze with tin plating, which enlarge the contact area and ensure low and constant contact resistance. It incorporates a true closed bottom design that prevents solder and flux wicking, along with standoffs that provide board clearance for proper cleaning after soldering. The socket accepts IC pins measuring 0.008" to 0.012" and is rated for 1 Amp per pin with a maximum contact resistance of 20 milliohms. This DIP socket is ideal for applications requiring easy component testing, field replacement, and system upgrades in industrial controls, intelligent buildings, medical devices, and military embedded systems.
