The connector features gold-plated phosphor bronze contacts with a minimum of 0.000030 inch (0.00076 mm) gold on the mating end and nickel underplating, housed in a UL 94V-0 rated thermoplastic housing. The steel shell is plated with bright nickel over copper for durability and EMI shielding.
