DESCRIPCIÓN
The 52596-1 is an AMPOWER quick disconnect terminal specifically engineered for traction motor and car body lead connections in the transportation industry. This Style A terminal accommodates 3/0 AWG (450/24 railroad) wire and features a maximum inside diameter of 0.812 inches (20.62 mm), providing reliable termination for large power cables. The terminal combines heavy-duty brass construction with silver plating to deliver high strength, excellent vibration resistance, and superior corrosion protection while maintaining full current-carrying capacity. It incorporates an innovative pin and groove design for fast, positive engagement with complete detachability, and includes a sight hole for visual verification. The terminal is crimped using standard TE hydraulic power units with the specified head and die sets, making it ideal for applications involving motors, generators, transformers, and other electrical equipment subjected to shock, vibration, and continuous operation.
