The 5-104655-5 is a PC/104 press-fit vertical receptacle connector designed for board-to-board interconnection in embedded PC and modular computing applications. This 40-position connector features a 0.100 inch (2.54 mm) centerline spacing and is available in a 0.250 inch (6.35 mm) mated height configuration packaged in tubes. The connector utilizes phosphor bronze contacts with gold plating (0.000015 inch minimum on the mating receptacle end and 0.000005 inch minimum on the remainder, with 0.000050 inch nickel underplate) and a glass-filled thermoplastic housing rated 94V-0. It incorporates integral board spacers with captive hardware to ease assembly and improve efficiency. The press-fit design eliminates hand soldering and supports both keyed and unkeyed configurations, making it ideal for PC/104 and PC/104-Plus standard compliance in compact computing modules and industrial embedded systems.
