DESCRIPCIÓN
The 184311-1 is a 6-position Sealed Sensor Connector (SSC) from the TE Connectivity automotive connector system, engineered for severe underhood environments. It features a robust glass-filled PBT housing with a 0.55 reduction coefficient, supporting wire sizes from 0.30–2.0 mm² (22–14 AWG), and operates reliably across a temperature range of -40°C to +125°C. The connector incorporates Terminal Position Assurance (TPA) for proper contact seating, damage-protected internal silicone seal interfaces with 3 sealing ridges, and industry-standard 0.070 series receptacle and tab contacts available in gold or tin plating. Performance specifications include contact resistance of 3 mO maximum (initial) and 10 mO maximum (final), insulation resistance of 100 mO maximum, dielectric strength of 1.0 kVac, and sealing rated at 7 Psi initial and 4 Psi after heat aging, conforming to IEC 529 I.P. 65/67 standard. The connector provides an audible "click" during mating and is available in multiple keying options and housing colors, making it ideal for powertrain systems, safety and security systems, and other demanding automotive applications requiring waterproof and high-temperature connectivity.
