DESCRIPCIÓN
The 770716 Static Sensor is a handheld meter designed to indicate surface voltage and polarity on objects in electrostatic environments. It features a measurement range of 0 to ±19.99 kV at a distance of 1 inch with a measurement accuracy of ±5%, utilizing a chopper-stabilized sensor for operation in both normal and ionized environments. The meter includes a 3-1/2 digit LED display with a sampling rate of 3 readings per second, a rotary zero knob for setting the zero-reference point, and a Hold button to freeze measurements for evaluation. An LED range indicator assists with proper meter positioning, and the dissipative enclosure includes a 7 mm snap and ground cord for equipment bonding. The 770716 is commonly used in ESD (electrostatic discharge) testing, air ionizer verification per ANSI/ESD standards, and field-induced discharge assessment in sensitive device environments.
