The CA1A-12V-C-5 is a sealed 1 Form A automotive power relay manufactured by Panasonic EW/AROMAT, designed for compact switching applications in motorcycles, automobiles, and battery-equipped devices. It features a 12 VDC nominal coil voltage with a nominal switching capacity of 20 A at 12 VDC resistive load, a maximum carrying current of 20 A continuous at 14 VDC and 80 °C, and operates with a nominal power consumption of 1.4 W. The relay exhibits a contact resistance of 3 mO typical (measured at 6 VDC, 1 A), a maximum contact voltage drop of 0.3 V after electrical life testing, and is constructed with cadmium-free silver alloy contacts sealed with epoxy resin. It delivers a maximum operate time of 10 ms and release time of 10 ms at nominal voltage, with an insulation resistance of 10 MO minimum at 500 VDC and a breakdown voltage of 500 Vrms for 1 minute.
