The MCP9510CT-E/CH is a resistor-programmable temperature switch designed to detect when temperatures fall below a set threshold, as indicated by its 'Cold' option. It operates over a wide voltage range of 2.7V to 5.5V and an extended temperature range of -40°C to +125°C. Key features include a typical switch accuracy of ±2°C, user-selectable hysteresis of 2°C or 10°C, and three selectable output configurations: active-low/high push-pull and active-low open-drain with an internal pull-up resistor. The trip point is set with a single external resistor, offering design flexibility for applications like thermostat control, temperature alarms, and fan control in power supplies and automotive systems.
