The MSS5MMD is a multi-tone audible alarm specifically designed for medical equipment and is cUL recognized to the IEC 60601-1-8 standard for drug or fluid delivery melodies. It operates on a 5 VDC supply and delivers a loud sound output of 85 to 95 dB(A) at 10cm. The device features distinct modes for low, medium, and high priority alarms, each with a unique beep pattern and repetition rate, across a frequency range of 150 to 4000 Hz. Housed in black, octagonal Valox (UL94V-0) material, it functions reliably within an operating temperature range of -30° to +55° C. Its compliance and distinct alarm profiles make it ideal for critical alert systems where clear, prioritized auditory signals are necessary.
