The 1590EF is a diecast aluminum enclosure designed for general-purpose wall-mounting electronic instrument applications. It features rugged diecast aluminum alloy construction with lap joint design where the lid and box meet, providing protection against dust and splashing water while improving EMI/RFI shielding. The enclosure measures 188 mm length × 120 mm width × 82 mm height (including 4 mm lid height) and is available in natural finish with a spot-welded bottom flange and wall-mounting flange integrated into the lid. The low side wall draft angle of 2° or less facilitates easy PC board mounting, and the standard version is designed to meet IP54 rating. Water-tight versions with gaskets are available to upgrade to IP65 protection, with gaskets rated for -40°C to 150°C operating temperature. This enclosure is ideal for protecting sensitive electronics in industrial, commercial, and laboratory environments where durability and environmental sealing are required.
