DESCRIPCIÓN
The 62S11-M5-060C is a compact optical encoder from Grayhill's Series 62S line, designed for applications requiring precise rotational position sensing in a minimal footprint. It features a 1/2" package size that requires minimal behind-panel space, operates at 5V with a maximum supply current of 25 mA, and provides 2-bit quadrature output with channel A leading channel B by 90° electrically during clockwise rotation. The encoder is rated for 1 million rotational cycles under low and medium torque conditions, with an operating temperature range of -40°C to 85°C and logic high output of no less than 3.8 Vdc. It includes an optional integral pushbutton switch and offers choices of cable length and terminations, with an AMP connector (P/N 215083-6 or equivalent). Common applications include global positioning systems, driver information systems, and medical equipment where compact, reliable rotational feedback is essential.
