DESCRIPCIÓN
The 62A11-02-250S is a 1/2" optical rotary encoder featuring 16 detent positions (22.5° angle of throw) with an integral pushbutton switch and 2-bit quadrature coded output. It operates at 5.0 Vdc with a supply current of 30 mA maximum and delivers logic output levels compatible with CMOS, TTL, and HCMOS logic circuits. The encoder utilizes optically coupled phototransistor and gallium aluminum arsenide infrared emitter technology, rated for over 1,000,000 rotational cycles and 3 million pushbutton actuations. Key mechanical features include an operating torque of 2.0 ±1.4 in-oz initially, a shaft push-out force of 45 lbs minimum, and a mounting torque rating of 15 in-lbs maximum. The device is supplied with mounting hardware including a nickel-plated brass nut and zinc-plated spring steel lockwasher, and is available with 4.0-inch stripped cable termination (28 AWG). This encoder is ideal for applications in global positioning systems, driver information systems, and medical equipment where reliable rotational feedback and user input are required.
