DESCRIPCIÓN
GV244BPB is a 400+ amp 800 VDC contactor from the GV24 series designed for high-current switching applications in demanding environments. The device features a PCB mountable configuration with M8x1.25 stud power connections, eliminating the need for external cables and connectors, and includes built-in coil suppression for all DC coils. It is hermetically sealed to meet UL1604 for Class I & II Division 2 and Class III hazardous locations, IP67 for temporary water immersion, SAE J1171 for external ignition protection, and ISO8846 for flammable gas environments. Key electrical specifications include a rated voltage of 800 V, contact arrangement of SPST-NO for main contacts, maximum contact resistance of 0.4 mO, mechanical life of 1,000,000 cycles, and short circuit current rating of 4000 A at 20 ms. The contactor operates over an ambient temperature range of -55°C to +85°C and features stainless steel hardware with brass mounting inserts for corrosion resistance. This design is ideal for marine, renewable energy, and industrial applications requiring reliable high-current switching in harsh or hazardous environments.
