The FLK2AC/90-1000V is a pocket-sized non-contact AC voltage tester from Fluke's VoltAlert family designed for rapid detection of energized circuits and defective grounds. It features voltage detection from 90 to 1000 V ac with a red-glowing tip indicator when voltage is present, Category IV 1000 V overvoltage rating for user protection, and an innovative Battery Check button function to verify battery condition. The device operates continuously using special low-power circuitry, maintaining battery life of greater than one year on two included AAA batteries, and operates reliably across temperatures from -10°C to 50°C. Ideal for electricians, maintenance personnel, and homeowners, it enables safe voltage testing on terminal strips, outlets, cords, and electrical panels in residential, commercial, and industrial environments.
