DESCRIPCIÓN
SM3242 is a precision 2.92mm male-to-male RF adapter designed to connect two 2.92mm male connectors in a straight-body configuration. The adapter operates across a frequency range from DC to 40 GHz with excellent VSWR performance of 1.1:1 maximum at DC to 27 GHz and 1.15:1 maximum at 27 to 40 GHz, meeting MIL-STD-348 interface specifications. Constructed from passivated stainless steel with gold-plated beryllium copper contacts, the adapter features a compact length of 0.846 inches (21.49 mm) and weighs 0.0125 lbs (5.67 g), with a rated mating torque of 8 to 10 in-lbs and 500 mating cycles per connector. The adapter operates reliably across an extended temperature range of -55°C to +135°C and is ideal for precision test and measurement applications, general-purpose RF testing, and as a connector saver for expensive equipment subject to frequent connect/disconnect cycles.
