DESCRIPCIÓN
PTS12066V075 is a 6-60 Volt DC surface mount resettable Positive Temperature Coefficient (PTC) device designed for overcurrent protection in compact 1206 (3216 metric) footprint applications. This device features a maximum voltage rating of 6V, hold current of 0.75A, and maximum current of 100A, with low initial resistance of 0.1O and post-trip resistance of 0.29O. It provides fast time-to-trip protection with a typical response time of 0.6 seconds and maximum trip time of 8 seconds, dissipating 1.5W in the tripped state. The device is halogen-free, lead-free, and RoHS compliant, operating reliably across -40°C to +85°C with thermal derating. Common applications include USB peripheral protection, mobile device port protection, battery pack safeguarding, and consumer electronics where fast, automatic overcurrent protection without manual intervention is required.
