DESCRIPCIÓN
MDL-2-1/2-R is a time-delay glass tube fuse designed for circuit protection in electrical systems operating at 250 Vac. This fuse features a 2.5 A nominal rating with a 100 A AC interrupting capacity and is constructed with a glass tube body and nickel-plated brass endcaps, meeting UL standard 248-14. The fuse exhibits a typical DC cold resistance of 10,000 O, a typical melting I²t of 49.6 A²sec, and a typical voltage drop of 0.535 V at rated current. With physical dimensions of 1/4" × 1 1/4" (6.4 × 31.7 mm), this fuse is suitable for industrial control circuits, power distribution systems, and equipment protection where time-delay characteristics are required to prevent nuisance trips from inrush currents.
